When setting up a customer’s included Projector Year Account, you choose the level of service that best fits the customer:

Quick Service: Providing fast account & media delivery

Choose Quick Service when a customer doesn’t need extra help getting started. The affiliate simply enters the customer’s email address, uses the default upload settings, and sends the automated Welcome Letter. The customer takes it from there and completes their own account setup.

Full Service: Providing White Glove Service

Choose Full Service when a customer needs extra help getting started. The affiliate creates the customer’s entire Projector account, including the password and preferred payment method for future renewal, providing a simple, hands-on experience for customers who aren’t comfortable setting up an account themselves.

Whether you choose Quick Service or Full Service, the upload process works the same way. Projector automatically populates four fields for each video: Thumbnail, Video Title, Category, and Visibility. Custom Settings

Create a professional, tailored Home Screen for the customer.

Custom settings lets you organize video files with specialized or chronological titles, create custom categories, add further video descriptions with sub-categories and playlists and arrange the library to match the customer’s preferences.

Affiliates typically charge their customer for this service as this custom work takes time and provides a higher-touch, premium experience while ensuring the customer’s library looks just the way they want.

    Customize the Default Settings

      1. Thumbnail: choose from the suggestions or create and upload your own
      2. Video Title: The video file names you gave your videos prior to uploading will auto-load but you can edit them in the Video Title field if necessary.
      3. Categories: The default category is “All Videos”. Custom categories can be created at the time of uploading. A Custom Category is the ability to put a series of videos or individual videos under certain subject matters. (i.e. Birthdays, Holidays, Sports). There are suggested categories to also choose from.
      4. Visibility: The default visibility field is “Public” – meaning anyone the account owner shares their Projector with will have viewing access to these videos. You can customize the Visibility for any or all videos.

Drag & Drop or select the video file(s) to upload

The “Upload Videos Details” box will open:

      About Visibility

The following are the descriptions of our Visibility settings:

      “All Viewers“

By selecting this option for your uploaded video or photo album, all viewers your user invites will have access to view this content.

      “Only I Can View“

By selecting this option for your uploaded video or photo album, only the user of the account can view this content.  No viewers will be able to view this content.

“Choose A Group To Share With“

By selecting this option for your uploaded video or photo album, only viewers who are added to the assigned groups will have access to view this content

Because Projector is a private library meant mostly for family and close family friends, we suggest selecting “All Invited Viewers Can View” unless there are specific videos you want to avoid sharing with all your Viewers. If all content is assigned to “all invited viewers can view”, this will share the user’s entire Projector. For more information on Visibility see the Visibility section
